Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are picked from clone CS46C, which gives the very typical Cabernet Sauvignon character. The grapes are picked early, de-stemmed and fermented in open fermenters and the cap is punched down. Matured in 25% new French oak barrels for 24 months.
Intense deep colour with cassis, red berries and attractive oak spice on the nose. Full-bodied palate with red and black fruit, a hint of meaty, earthy, developed flavours is also detected. Long, dry finish.
