On the nose, complex aromas of cigar box, spice and rich fruit are followed through to the palate in addition to a concentrated mix of ripe, dark berry fruit, velvety tannins and a pleasingly long finish. A well structured wine of great elegance.

While refined enough not to overpower subtle cooking, the full, concentrated flavours and velvety tannins would bring out the best in any rich meat dish.
