A fine wine, bottled in honour of the owner’s Mum. She had an open door policy whether it was for advice, eggs, or sugar for the neighbours or a shoulder to cry on. She was an absolute pillar of strength and had a wicked sense of humour. She was wife to James William for 56 years, a mother to 3 sons and a daughter and a role model to all and sundry. This Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend is full bodied with plum and cigar box characteristics. Matured in French oak barrels for 36 months. The wine can be enjoyed year round with red meat dishes like slow roasted lamb shank or oxtail stew.
