Deep purple-red with great legs that is nearly opaque with a magenta-tinged rim. Aromas of blackberry, plum, black cherry and spice. Incredibly well structured, balanced and elegant. Smooth, soft tannins offer a velvety mouth feel with delicious flavors of black fruits such as plums and currants nuanced with black pepper and sweet tobacco finish.

Malbec drinks well on its own, but also compliments lean cuts of meat like flank, sirloin and skirt steak, chicken and other meats like lamb and pork. Pairs superbly with Italian food and with richer fish such as salmon.
