We had a soup and wine pairing where we paired our Yonder Hill Nicola with a chorizo and lentil soup. 60% of our Yonder Hill Nicola blend is barreled in new French oak which gives the wine a character of toasted wood and black fruits and this characteristic combines well with the flavours of the chorizo. Our Yonder Hill Nicola also pairs well with red meat dishes.
