Buchu (Agothosma Betulina) is an indigenous fynbos of the Cape, SA with enormous health properties and a fascinating history thereof.
Appearance: Brilliant clear diamond colour , which can have a pale green tinge (dependant on the sprig extraction).
Nose: Aniseed, menthol, spearmint and liquorish nuances.
Palate: Refined, smooth subtle flavours that follow through on the unique fragrances.
Serve with tonic and a slice of green apple (blueberries can add an attractive pink hue). Due to the strikingly smooth nature and subtle Buchu extraction it can also be drunk on the rocks as an excellent digestive
