Dark chocolate with a toffee caramel nose fused with liquorice root and spice on nose. A limey palate entrance flows to a smooth tannin structure and ripe sweet blueberry fruit flavor expression. Well integrated oak is supported by good fruit intensity and length. This wine had great depth of fruit and is kept fresh by a linger of lime on the after palate. The depth of color coupled with the refreshing acidity, spicy oak and ripe smooth tannin structure is indicative of a wine with great aging potential.
