Spice, treacle / caramel, bitter orange and wafts of spirit on the bouquet. Palate is complex, opulent and weighted – roast nuts, molasses / treacle, bitter orange and hints of cinnamon and all spice. Lingering dry finish with treacle and spice undertones.
A mild Cape Malay lamb curry – using free-range Karoo lamb, accompanied with
sweet potatoes and buttered spring green beans. Traditionally, Tawny’s are served
with a selection of mature cheeses, nuts, dried fruits, green fig preserve and crackers.
