True South African variety Pinotage was cross pollinated from Pinot Noir and Cinsault by Professor Izak Perold back in 1925. This Rosé from a 7-year-old Pinotage block planted down on the valley floor in mostly sandy-loam soil gives big bunches and lighter colour berries ideal for producing fresh and fruit driven Pinotage Rosé wine.
