The beautiful Mellonia is a heart-warming, intoxicatingly sweet mead spirit with hints of spices and a subtle taste of citrus. The richness of her flavour is one that stays with you from beginning to end. Many compare her to Christmas in a bottle and some say she's a "fireball", which leads me to saying that she should not be underestimated :-)
Lovely to drink cold as shots, as a dessert drink on its own like a dessert liqueur, or just on ice, or as a drink mixed with soda and a slice of orange or lime. She also works beautifully in dessert jelly such as trifle or even sorbet. Even a shot in some hot water with lemon before bed to nip that cold bodily feeling will do the trick ;-)
