APPEARANCE: Deep, dark magenta with purple hues.
NOSE: Supple aromas of blueberries, black cherry, and strawberry jam is followed by rich notes of French oak and Christmas cake. Satisfyingly rich in the glass, this wines' complex bouquet develops and envelops the drinker even before they put their lips to the liquid.
PALATE: Full-bodied, yet smooth, succulent, and extremely well balanced. Flavors of blueberries and cocoa mix perfectly with the soft, yet substantial tannins that run seamlessly to a long and velvety finish. Even after swallowing, the flavors grip the palate leaving the drinker wanting more and more.
Mischa Malbec drinks well on its own but also compliments lean cuts of meat like flank, sirloin and skirt steak, chicken, and other meats like lamb and pork. Pairs superbly with Italian food and with richer fish such as salmon.
