Dry, but voluptous. The fruit is prominent initially, the the fleshy fig following through and traces of sea vegetation overlaying the toasted almond from the subtle French Oak. Satisfying and weighty middle palate, finishing generously.
This spicy, cool climate Semillon pairs well with Cape Malay cuisine like gentle curries, samoosas, Bobotie, Briyani. The wine stands up well to spicy flavours as well as to citrus notes like lemon , lime and orange in a sauce.
