Our Husk Spirit (Grappa) is made from grape pomace sourced from a local Hout Bay winery. We receive the pomace within minutes of pressing which we then ferment. This is then double distilled in a copper still. What we love about this product is that we are making use of grapes which were destined for the compost heap, but before reaching this useful recycling phase we first upcycle it into our flavoursome grappa!
Great as an after dinner drink digestief. There is no better way to end a good meal than: a small bite of dark chocolate, slowly dissolved by a sip of hot espresso, followed by a sip of husk spirit
