CapeSecco Chenin blanc is light-bodied, vibrant, and fresh wine with a crisp acidity. Elegant and fragrant notes of peach, melon and pear tingles your nose. On the palate the wine has light fine bubbles, a well-rounded mid palate with delicate tropical and white fruit that linger though the finish. Being a light, fruity and elegant wine it is ideal as an aperitif. But it will pair beautifully with shrimp and shellfish, smoked salmon, caviar, fried calamari, and oysters. Summer salads especially one is with fruit like peach or pear or fruit-based desserts such as tarts and crepes.
