Tasting Notes:
Full, rich dark fruit, complex nose.
Intense blackcurrant, dark fruit and plum flavours with delightful hints of dark chocolate. Toasty oak, generous but already well integrated tannins, and light spice add really nice complexity.
Lingering, delicious fruity finish.
Harvest Notes:
Hand-harvested. de-stalked, and cold-soaked overnight and fermented with special yeast with calculated maceration and pump-over methods. Skins removed before dry, and aged in French Oak barrels for 18 months. A variety of first, second and third fill barrels were used to enhance certain flavours and complexity.
