The Petit Verdot grapes was sourced and made at La Bri, Franschhoek, in combination with of our Cabernet Franc led blend, called the Megan Mari. We chose this one 225L barrel of Petit Verdot to be bottled on its own, where the rest of our Petit Verdot barrels went into our Megan Mari Bordeaux blend. Hand picked in mid-March 2020, grapes were sorted on the sorting table and cold soaked for 3 days, before fermentation started with FX10 yeast. Our wine was aged in 3rd fill barrels and aged for just over 28 months.
