The expressive nose has a balance of black cherries, plum and clove. This follows through on the palate with the addition of some graphite, blackberries, and cedar, with its full body, lively acidity and ample tannin structure balancing the complexity of this small batch production. The wine is superb now but could only improve with ageing in the next 5-10 years.
