New Chapter Gin no 2 is a full bodied Gin with an exceptionally long finish. Ruby Grapefruit and Lime are the dominant citrus is the complex aromatic Gin. Skillfully weaving 12 botanicals including Almonds and Buchu, part of the Cape fynbos family. The Distiller and brand owner Bart Smithers, family of a citrus export forefathers of South Africa, extracts the full range of complex multilayered flavors he so fondly remembers growing up with. Only the best grape spirit carries these intense flavors. Zero additives only genuine, organic if possible, hand prepared botanicals using a 200 year old traditional South African Mampoer pot still and open flame.

New Chapter Gin 1 and 2 are full bodied Juniper forward, robust Gins. Both made in a copper pot, focusing the citrus and botanical oils. Of our two Gins, No 1 is often savored neat. No garnish required as we us large amounts of Naartjie and Orange juice during distillation. Number 2 really brings out the best in any subtle tonic on a hot Summers day.
