Agave/Mezcal

This Reposado is the reason we put tequila on oak and should once and for all convert the agave-spirits drinking public from shot drinkers, to contemplative sippers. Its crafted for drinking neat or with a dash of soda, but its bold flavours allow it to be used in a variety of cocktails that celebrate, rather than include Reposado. The nose reveals the agave heart of the spirit, but is beautifully complimented by the vanilla, caramel and honey notes imparted on it during the aging process. It has a lovely full mouthfeel and a pleasant lingering aftertaste. The palate is epitome of a marriage between smooth, expertly crafted agave spirit and the character imparted on it by ex-bourbon cask aging and maturation, that brings warm caramel, vanilla sweetness to the fore.

This genuine Tequila Reposado is incredibly smooth and strikes a fine balance between the underlying agave and the sweet, vanilla, caramel and subtle smoky notes imparted into it during the aging process. Its bold flavour profile holds its own well in an asian inspired pork belly roast with asian greens, but fits equally well alongside venison carpaccios and rich vanilla and caramel-inspired desserts.
