- Appearance: Dark amber - Aroma: A harmonious symphony of figs, dates and dark grapes preserved in mature sherry, complemented by juicy raisins, ripe walnuts and fine oak spice, rounded off with a hint of tobacco, dark chocolate and a delicate pinch of cinnamon. - Flavour: A luscious sweetness of mature sherry, demerara sugar, raisins and pickled fruit combines with warming oak spice and harmoniously integrated alcohol, followed by seductive notes of walnuts, dark chocolate and a hint of tobacco, refined with cinnamon. - Finish: The long-lasting finish begins with creamy fruit jam and seductive sherry sweetness and develops elegantly into dry notes of walnut, dark chocolate, oak and raisins. After adding 5 drops of water to 2cl - Aroma: The beguiling fruit notes become more prominent and the whisky appears more effervescent overall; the sherry note as well as raisin and walnuts are more present, while the tobacco note recedes into the background. - Taste: On the palate, the whisky is much more lively and tangy, with raisins and dates coming to the fore together with sweet sherry notes; chocolaty flavours and a pleasant warmth are accompanied by a subtle oak spiciness. - Finish: The long finish is characterised by sherry notes, raisin and significantly more intense chocolate notes, complemented by subtle, dry oak notes.
