Picked late on 28 March 2019 compared to the previous vintage. Hand
selected bunches of our most concentrated ripe syrah were cold macerated
over an extended period of time prior to barrel fermentation. 20% whole bunch
fermented using wild yeast in a combination of 225 and 500 litre French oak
barrels. Maturation took place in 225l French oak barrels (50% new).
Limited production of 143 x 1.5l magnums and 2003 x 750ml bottles.
Bottled 12th August 2021.
Decant before serving. Great ageing potential.
