TASTING NOTES A dense, purple black colour is indicative of immense colour extraction. The aromas are layered and complex, expressing scented notes of blackand blueberry fruit, black cherries, stewed plums, liquorice, berry compote, baked berry tart and oak spice. The palate entry is greeted with cascading flavours of cherry kirsch, hedgerow fruit, plums, and sweet cigar. The voluptuous fruit is effortlessly supported against a backdrop of polished and fine, filigree-like tannins, adding structure and depth without overshadowing the fruit. A wonderfully harmonious, detailed, and balanced wine with a great concentration of dark fruits on the finish.

Pair well with meat and especially duck.
