MORE INFORMATION:
Lord’s Wines Pinot Noir 2024 Wine of Origin: Western Cape Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir Vintage: 2024 Tasting Notes: Appearance: Brilliant clarity with a translucent ruby core and garnet edges, showcasing the varietal’s classic light hue. Polished and luminous in the glass. Nose: A lifted and expressive bouquet offering aromas of fresh red cherry, wild raspberry, and cranberry, interwoven with floral hints of violet and rose petal. Subtle notes of forest floor, clove, and lightly toasted oak add depth and complexity. Palate: Elegant and medium-bodied, the palate opens with bright red fruit – cherry compote, pomegranate, and a touch of redcurrant – supported by refined, velvety tannins. A savoury undertone of dried herbs and earthy spice emerges mid-palate, carried by well-integrated oak. Acidity: Lively natural acidity lends freshness and balance, lifting the fruit and ensuring excellent ageing potential while also making it food-friendly. Finish: Long, clean finish with lingering notes of red fruit and a gentle mineral edge. Cellaring Potential: Enjoy now or cellar for 3–5 years to allow tertiary notes of truffle and leather to evolve.

Our 2024 Pinot Noir is a beautifully expressive wine, showcasing delicate red fruit notes of cherry, raspberry, and cranberry, underpinned by subtle earthy undertones and soft oak integration. With its silky tannins and bright acidity, this vintage is incredibly versatile at the table. Perfect Pairings: Meats: Herb-crusted lamb cutlets Duck breast with cherry glaze Roast chicken with thyme and garlic Charcuterie with prosciutto, smoked ham, and pâté Cheese: Brie or Camembert Gruyère Goat’s cheese tart Vegetarian: Mushroom risotto or wild mushroom pasta Beetroot and goat cheese salad Roasted root vegetables with balsamic reduction South African Inspired: Bobotie with yellow rice Ostrich fillet with red wine reduction Karoo lamb sosaties This Pinot Noir is best enjoyed slightly chilled, around 14–16°C, to bring out its refined flavours and delicate structure.
