To receive a Michelangelo Platinum medal, wines and spirits need to score at least 96 points. These 24 outstanding products fall in the top 1% of total entries.
A Double Gold medal represents a score of 93 points or higher. This year 89 Double Gold medals are awarded to the following deserving wines and spirits:
Gold medal winners are awarded at least 89 points out of a possible 100, putting these 363 excellent products in the top 30% of all entries.
For a Michelangelo entry to earn a silver medal it has to score at least 86 out of a possible 100 points. This year our panels gave 111 silver medals to deserving wines and spirits.
